DRIVING IN FLORIDA
We are moving to Orlando, Florida for 6 months from Nov 1st and need to sort out renting/leasing a car, without having to buy one. Using the traditional rental companies such as Alamo etc can work out expensive. Any suggestions on a cost effective solution?
Also, do we need to pass a Florida driving test? If so, how do we go about doing this?
If we did decide to buy a car, do we need a Florida driving licence? Any recommendations for car storage for the 6 months that we are not in the US?

You don't need a Fl licence if you buy your own car..but without it the insurance will be very expensive and hard to get..
Go into a Driving Licence centre and they will tell you all ..
Lot of storage places all over ....
By the time you add up Insurance, tag, storage etc ..
The rental aint such a bad idea ..
at least for the first month to get yourself sorted ..
