Default Driver's License in New York

hello,

i came to NY as a K-3 resident two months earlier.

i like to apply for Learner's Permit/Driver's License.

can anyone tell me what documents i may need to be eligible for it?

Sometimes it depends on if you already hold a driving permit and for which country.....

Default OT- sorry

I had to laugh when I saw this post as it reminded me of something our NY bus driver said, when I was there recently.

Having managed to successfully negotiate his way past the numerous taxis in the New York streets he said that you won't see many taxis involved in accidents because many of them are driven by illegal immigrants and they can't risk having to fill in the paperwork.

I can't say if that is true or not and he may have been joking but I didn't see any accidents while I was there!
