Drivers license

Does anyone know when in the process of adjusting status I could change
the name on my drivers license?
I want to start using my husbands name but from what I've heard once you
go to the DMV they really check on you so I don't want to get in
trouble.
Do I have to wait till I get my GC or can I do it once I get the
receipts from USCIS stating that the case is pending?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Drivers license

Once u have your certified marriage certificate, you can have your name
changed on your driver's license, just take the dcuments with you to
the DMV and other proof of residency and passport ,

Good luck

In most states the EAD is sufficient to show as proof of your legal status for at least the length of the duration of the EAD.
