Dogs in Chicagoland
Can anyone recommend a really good vet in the Wheaton/Winfield/Carol Stream/Naperville/Warrenville/West Chicago area?
Also a good groomer. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. many thanks |

Not exactly in the towns you list but I would'nt take my dogs and cats anywhere other than Hoffman Estates Animal Hospital. They have great staff and are AAHA Members. I usually see Dr. Williams.

The Glen Ellyn Animal Clinic is good, according to my wife (I haven't taken my dog to the vet). It's just south of Roosevelt on Park.
I really never "groom" (que? wash a dog you say?) my mutt, but we once took him to a place adjacent to College Street Station in Wheaton that did a great job. When he came out, I was shocked to recall that he was in fact a white dog. One other thing: if your dog likes other dogs, take him/her to the off-leash parks in the area if you have a chance. The DuPage dog parks are all surprisingly nice for owners and heaven for the dogs. We're a regular fixture at several of them. |
