But isn't Irn Bru just a drink for kids who aren't cool enough to drink Tizer?

You can buy 12 bottle (500ml) cases from Irn-Bru-USA.com.

They ship via UPS from North Carolina and it gets cheaper the more cases you buy.

I looked at this and shipping was more expensive than the bottles for a single 12 pack. The only way I could make it justifiable would to find a group of like mind Scots and split the shipping cost for a large batch.

Even amazon you have to watch the shipping as it is a reseller.

I seem to remember that we used to have a member by the name of Irn Bru... always enjoyed seeing him post - made me thirsty.

Ian - another Irn Bru afficionado

No wonder us Scots get a reputation for thrift!

Two cases = $30. Shipping is $23.

So it's $53 for 24 bottles, or $2.21 per bottle. Certainly not the cheapest soft drink around, but not horrific given that you can easily pay $1.50 for a Coke from a vending machine.

And the two shops which sell Bru in my town (Fort Collins, CO) both charge $2.50 a bottle.

Given that it's imported from Glasgow (not bottled over here), it's really not a bad price.

Irish shop in Tempe

Irn-Bru, (Scotland), $2.25, 500 ml bottle.

And it is not far from the Cornish Paste place
