Wouldn't she qualify for O on her own terms? If I was her, that's what I'd do...otherwise how can she launch her soon-to-be-mega-empire?

Or, I'd come in on an L1-A.

I'd say O Visa but GC if and when they want one - when you are earning a million dollars a week, it wouldn't take much to invest in the community/war machine etc in return for one.

He'd be paying taxes anyway, regardless of GC, wouldn't he?

If you pass the IRS substantial presence test, it doesn't matter what your immigration status is, you're a resident and they've got you.
