There are British enclaves in Santa Monica and Thousand Oaks here.
I suspect people generally divide on wealth rather than racial lines. Good school districts will be a major factor as to where people live.

I haven't lived in an "English" neighbourhood since I left umm England. I live in a town of about 8,000 in the foothills of Maine. It is a mill town and most people in this small town are crazy to some degree, I love it. I think the town I live in was years ago featured on 20/20 or something like that (people tell me this and are still proud about it to this day) for having the most alcohol consumption per capita anywhere in the US.
People around here drive around with guns quite visible, it's a way of life.

An English guy just moved into town so that makes four of us now...

live in a gred condo community with varying races, countries represented, etc. we have 2 brits (my husband is 1), 1 swede, 3 black families, 2 jewish, 1 indian, 1 italian, and the others are white but i don't know their backgrounds...now if we could only get one another to talk it'd be great! except for a handful, we remain quiet unto ourselves.

Our neighbourhood could probably best be described as your typical middle class America. Race not an issue, its a mix of Hispanic/Black/Caucasian, as they say, but probably a fair white majority, thinking about it. Everyone's out on the weekend washing (predominantly new) cars/doing the lawn/pool/etc, its very much "As seen on TV". Not another Brit as far as I'm aware.

There's a guy from Croydon working at my local Trader Joes, and quite a lot of Brits working at my company, but then it's one of the world's largest banks (and now British owned) so that's to be expected I suppose.
