Thanks for all of the time and effort you all put into this.

I asked this question about a month ago, but didn't get a clear answer. Omar's
divorce hearing is next week and I want to make sure we have everything covered.

1. His soon to be ex-wife had a child by another man. She has admitted that the child
belongs to another man. Does he need to get a statement for the purposes of our
K-1 application stating that the child is not his?

2. He did have a child by this woman but the child is now deceased. Do I need to
state this on the K-1 application and attach a birth and death certificate?

As for the child that died, I would most definitely have birth/death certs. As for
the child by another man: who is named on the birth certificate as the father? If
it's him, then he needs it, and if not, then he does not.

If he is named as the father on the birth certificate regardless of parentage, he has to list the child.

As for the deceased child, a death certificate is required.
My husband needed one for his deceased child.
