Can a foreigner who is in F1 status get divorced with his wife who is in F2 status ?
Can a foreigher who is an asylum applicant here divorce with his wife who is also in his application for asylum?

INS status doesn't affect your ability to get a divorce. If you are in the country as
a dependent of the primary visa holder, then you would no longer be eligible after
the divorce. The same would go for asylum. Obviously, if you divorce and have grounds
for asylum on your own, then you would have to apply on your own.

INS status doesn't affect your ability to get a divorce. If you are in the country as

the divorce. The same would go for asylum. Obviously, if you divorce and have grounds

The land of the free will allow you to divorce whoever or whatever you want, whenever you want, as many times as you want...:-)

Not just anybody, you have to be married to them first.
