Wondered if anyone would be interested in this link for discount airfares from UK to
US. I know there are lots of travel websites online but I've used this company before
as they've always offered the lowest priced fare.

Bought my one-way ticket today online to travel out on 30th July

Thanks Ellie, this is really helpful. I'm going to have to move fast after my
interview. I will need 3 tickets asap! Fares seem very reasonable.

Most people on here probably know about ebookers and Expedia, but some advice about
ebookers from bitter experience... I bought a ticket to San Francisco on August 4th
for £620 including tax, having missed out on a much cheaper fare (£444) on the same
flight because I hesitated... only to find when I checked back a few days later that
the cheaper fare was available again! Aaagh!!! So maybe, unless you're really
desperate to get your travel arrangements finalised, it's worth holding out for a
while... you never know what bargains might suddenly appear!

I found a round trip price from Gatwick to Baltimore for 689 dollars US, on http://www.onetravel.com
I used July 27 as departure date from Gatwick, and August 26 as the return date.

I saw a show that had a travel expert on and he was giving advise on how to get cheap
airfares, hotels and cruises. The main thing I remember him saying is that if you
call the airline for a fare quote, don't tell them a specific date you want to
travel, ask them what is their cheapest airfare, and then ask what the restrictions
are for that fare (usually its only certain travel dates you can fly). He said to do
this because by giving them an exact date, the agent is not going to look for the
cheapest airfare that is available, only at the ones on that specific date.

Good luck in finding your airfares!
