Direct Buy
Anyone know anything about these? Any secret members? Do you really save?

Re: Direct Buy
sounds like a dodgy cult to me...but it's probably legit, there's a few of these bulk buy type sites...but don't know if the savings are worth all the ball ache.

I have a simple test I use to see if something is dodgy, do a Google search on "company name scam"

Re: Direct Buy
I do a bit, they have one here.
They charge a large up front fee and promise you wholesale costs.
The people who I have heard like them quote big saving from list prices, but who pays list anyway.
They alos seem to deal in items such as furniture where there is no direct comparison.
Sams Club and Costco memebership is much much cheaper, as is an Internet connection.
Even if you assume you will save some cash, you would need to be remodelling a house or two to get your membership back.
