Anyone else think the Queen is a hypocrite as she was certainly not upset at Di's death ?

I'm sure she is acting on the advice of her many advisors, and acting according to how the public would like to see her act. I agree, that at the time of Diana's death, she certainly didn't seem to be upset.

I think she's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't in this case- or anything where Diana was concerned. There was a fuss because she didn't attend the opening of the Diana play ship in Kensington Gardens- would have been the same fuss if she HAD attended it.
Does anyone like the memorial? I think it looks lovely and will be nice for the kiddies in the Summer. At least its useful not some silly statue which only serves the pigeons. Diana's mother apparently didn't think it was grand enough and after all the gripes to have a memorial for Diana- people are bitching about the cost now

Talking of dolls, I've just bought a Snoop Dog action figure. It's a gift for a friend. Honest.

I don't think it does anything much, apart from stand there and look ridiculous. Much like the real thing.

In tribute to Diana it only gets wet when an Arab is near.

Apparently the state of the water reflects different aspects of the Princess.

I take it it's all fairly shallow then.

At the end of it does the water disappear into a tunnel?

"One only gets upset when one's corgi does a #2 on the back seat of one' s Range Rover."

Looks like a rather large urinal to me, I think William is the best tribute there is out there right now...till he loses all his hair and goes the way of Edward.

In London, engineers were working to clear the Princess Diana memorial fountain of leaves after it flooded a day after it was opened.
