Well he certainly has a very prominent wedding ring in the picture.

Oh, it's gonna happen. That's not just me being cheeky, it's a pretty common occurance in US politics. Munchausen by politics.

They removed it from the Platform, they were in at the last election. It is a big deal For some Christians and for some Jews.

I'm skipping the NFL and going for Clinton tonight. He really is a truly phenomenal speaker so I want to see his angle.

So far though I haven't really heard what the Planned Parenthood lady on screen has said so far (apologies but I don't know her name off hand). But she did mention her mother Governor Ann Richards. Good Lord that woman was immense. One of the few genuine indisputable greats in modern politics.

With a broad Texas accent:

"Poor George.

Poor George.

<big grin> He was born with a silver foot in his mouth."

Another memorable one was: "That dog don't hunt"

Sister Campbell just rocked it for me - and I dont share her faith- but she's saying it correctly. The right cant think they have a monopoly over "Christian" values.

Whatever happened to separation of Church and state in this country anyhow?

I don't know why I'm taking some enjoyment from how absolutely terrified Mark Shields and David Brooks (in particular) are or Rahm Emanuel on PBS. Whatever that quality is that some people have that intimidates people (my wife has it - but nothing like Emanuel) he just oozes it.

I could listen to Bill Clinton speak all day. The man has the gift. Head and shoulders over anyone I've seen in either convention. If he could run again he would win in a landslide.
