It is not just the jewish vote in Florida but also the Cuban vote. At least 20 years have passed since Cuba has been a threat but politicians can't get the Cuban vote unless they are tough on Cuba and for harsh sanctions.

I thought with Sharon and Arafat finally out of the way, real progress would be made... D'oh!!
And Bush-43 couldn't get over the fact that Saddam Hussein put a hit out on, his own beloved dad, Bush-41. We see where that got us.

This is why we don't let family members of the victims sit on the juries of those that have murdered their loved ones.

If you can't win fair and square then cheat! Hire a company to do a voter registration drive. I guess the Repubs were so pissed that Acorn did so well at it they felt this time around they should try it too...

In my opinion, neither is voter fraud. In each case, they hire people that get paid to register voters of a certain party and the more people that they register, the more they get paid. However, when it comes to the actual voting, I doubt if any of those fake registrations actually vote.

The same is true about dead people on voter registration polls. The tea party has been making an issue about that to try to purge living democrats from the voting polls which costs the states a lot of money.

And having a drivers license, military id, or government id does little to stop voter fraud since non citizens can get those ids. This is especially true since most states do not require people that vote by mail ballots to again register with an ID since most people that vote by mail are republicans.

However, most people that vote early at a polling places are democrats so republicans have been trying to cut back on early voting. In Iowa, early voting democrats out number republicans by about 5 to 1.

Do you see a trend?

While that may be true, it doesn't look good for the RNC. They accused Dems of registration fraud with the Acorn thing 4 years ago and now they've been caught doing the same thing.

OK then, as details emerge about Romney's health care plans....

Mitt Romney’s health care plan wouldn’t just insure fewer people than “Obamacare” — it would make the uninsured problem worse than it would have been if the law had never passed, according to a comparison of the two plans by a research group with a history of pro-“Obamacare” studies.

The analysis by the Commonwealth Fund, a New York-based health care research foundation, found that under Romney’s health care plan, the uninsured population would soar to 72 million by 2022 — 12 million higher than if nothing had been done at all.

As I said in the other thread, the only winners will be bankruptcy lawyers and debt collection agencies.
