Natural births any other way (including home births) are a no no. I was shocked when I found this out. Also the post natal care is atrocious in most cases - no health visitors and no midwifes checking on mum and baby as we have back home.

It is indeed and I'm not going to confine this to the US. I can not condone any culture that continues to allow/force women to produce babies continually until the end of their childbearing years. Knowing that you can not afford to clothe and feed your growing family and yet deliberately adding to the population of that family just doesn't compute. I am against abortion as a form of birth control and that to me is where the issue of personal responsibility comes in.
