Thumbs up Dairy Queen Blizzards

Its not hard to see why my waist size grows each month I'm here. I had a strawberry cheesecake blizzard the other day. Talk about flavor overload!. I strongly advise anybody thinking about buying one, to settle for the small. Because I had the medium and it felt like I'd just consumed the whole Walls ice cream factory!.

I guess the answer is to spend a bit more time on your bike and stop making so many detours!!!!!!!!!!

Easy solution.

Either don't buy even the small size so often
or
don't eat the whole of the small size and throw the rest of the way.

The consumer has to exercise moderation with even "small" sizes of food and drink in the US.

20oz bottles of soda? Check the nutritional information panel. I think that 20oz bottle represents 2.5 servings.

Good point. We are not becoming an "obese" society, we are becoming "supersize".

All I'll say is that it's easy to be bad (eat too much, not do exercise, drink too much, etc.) than be good (watching what you eat, how much you eat, actually exercising, even parking further from a store/work entrance so you walk a little further).

I actually find a lot of American food unappealing (especially strangely colored foods) so it's not difficult to not want to eat many things. e.g. bright blue iced cup cakes, triple flavored icecream (e.g. vanilla, strawberry and chocolate in one half gallon tub), corn syrup laden foods.

agreed, although strawberry, choc and vanilla was a staple desert of my childhood - AKA neapoliton ice cream

most of the breakfast cereal looks strangley coloured so i have the stuff from the organic section (shredded wheat) or special K

things i loved in england, like bacon and chocolate, i can't be bothered to even eat over here (unless they are from the local international store)

some of the cookies in kroger look like they been randomly dipped in one of 50 different vats of food colouring

Outside the major cities, it is bloody hard to walk anywhere. I wonder if obesity would be less of a problem in America if there were more sidewalks. A British expat friend of mine says her American-born daughter was really impressed with being able to walk to the local Spar when she visited England.
