Default Court system -moving child to US

Hi, does anyone have any experience of moving UK child to the US. My US husband and I are going through the UK courts of moving my daughter from a previous relationship to the US. I'm trying to find out the Texas courts facility to register mirror orders which are made in the UK. I've tried google but can't find what I'm looking for. Also I need to find out the Texas Legal Code in relation to contact of step-children. I've checked out the Texas codes family section but nothing covers what I'm looking for here either. Please can anyone help?

You may need to find a good family law practitioner in TX.

This is a rather specialised question which may require competent local legal advice.

However, you may also find some answers by posting on the Legal Board at the US Motley Fool:

custody issues, time for a lawyer rather than forum stuff....Texas isn't much fun though.
