Countersigner?.. Ok if USC?..

Hi guys.. First post

I am applying for first UK passport.. I was born in Oxford, England in '78 but have lived around the world and US as American citizen..

As I have not lived in UK since the age of 1, I do not know any British citizens to Countersign my C1 form!! Can I just have my boss do it?.. He is a VP (USC) at the nonprofit I have worked at for 5 years.. I live in Maryland, US..

Any thoughts on this would be great!!

Any one of standing can sign it, they don't have to put their passport number down either if they don't have a UK passport.

Thanks everyone.. My boss gladly signed the form and put his title rightfully as VP Program Development.. Sent the application out today.. Not expecting any problems.. I'll post any updates as they arise..
