The courts aren't always right, that's all we need to know!

Michael Moore would be proud of the way you distort my words to make it seem like I'm stating something completely different.
I could in return distort your comments and say that because the legal system can sometimes be wrong, why have one?? But then my posts would be as meaningless as yours are right now.

Regardless of how many words you bold or how many redundant analogies you use, you still fail to provide solid evidence that a single innocent person has been executed.

You can't provide a valid answer.
If you're OK with being convicted and executed for a crime you didn't commit, that's fine by me.

Re: Couey Gets Death Penalty
thanks
nurses assist the doctor in administration of the lethal injection, i wonder how they justify that to themselves in an ethical sense jobwise sometimes, im not saying i disagree with the death penalty, i just wonder how it makes them feel and their reason behind choosing to be that person.
during my job, there are many things i have to do, that sometimes if you gave them too much thought it could be bad for the head having said that its also very rewarding

Disagree on your last point. Not sure how a retarded kid is jointly responsible with the actual gunman for the actual murder, accesory , maybe. How about Timothy Evans?

Re: Couey Gets Death Penalty
slimy snivling pieces of shite isnt quite strong enough words to describe these people' i was simply saying that because of what my job is and what it stands for, it makes it difficult to agree with execution of prisoners, however what my gut feeling is when i see these crimes on TV is a completely different
i will say that during my work i see people who suffer and death is a welcome release for them, only then do they seem at peace. should we allow someone who has commited awful crimes like those have any peace in their lives? maybe a very long stint in a really awful prison environment would be preferable? who knows

Re: Couey Gets Death Penalty
Both cases were from a different era though...Post war Britain ..was a far different place ..
Another Interesting case was James Hanratty (the A6 murder)
So much was done by team after team to prove he was innocent
but eventually in 1999/2001 DNA was used to prove conclusively
he was guilty ...
His defence lawyer then stated
The recent DNA tests would seem to prove conclusively that Hanratty did in fact commit the crime for which he was executed. Mr Sherrard said, "The wrong man was not hanged. That was an immense relief to me." However, his opinion of the original prosecution remains unchanged. "The evidence was too weak to justify conviction. I still hold that view."
