1. gas nil- dont have it down here
2. Electricity- min just over $100 a month, max $200pm with a/c and pool heater both going. ave $150pm 3. Council tax or rates $2800 pa 4. house insurance $1200pa inc contents plus flood ins $420pa 5. water costs $80-100 pm depending if i top pool up 6. food - we spend for 2 adults 150-200 a week, but we eat decent food not sh1te fast food.you could live on less. salads and veggies are expensive. that includes wine 7. car tax/disc- cant recall but its peanuts 8. internet broadband + phone...int 30pm, home phone 30pm, cell phones 2 lines 80pm 9. car insurance about 8/900 pa per car thats 3rd party f&t 10.petrol depends we both use ours for work so I reckon 80 a week mortgage ? we spend 620 pm in the Uk we rented for £1150pm so big saving health ins. thru the mrs work we pay $360pm i reckoned our outgoings are about 2800 a month. thats before 'spending/clothes/luxuries etc' in the Uk it was 3500 but in £s but the mrs earns twice as much here as she did in the UK my money is pretty similar but it all goes back into the business much better off here, |

OK I am doing around the world best places to retire and Florida could be possible. If you can supply your expenses then I will post my costs here in the UK and the island of Tenerife- to compare if thats OK-

They would change you more if that is what you mean, look up Homestead allowance.
