cost of h1-b transfer, renewal and greencard?
What are the costs (just ballpark figures) associated with the following?
1) H1-B transfer 2) H1-B renewal 3) Greencard (sponsored by a company) I would guess that each of the above costs about $2000-3000, including lawyer's fees. Is it common for a company to ask a prospective employee to pay for these things himself? Thanks. I couldn't find any FAQ on this. -John [email protected] (remove elephant) |

As for green card through employment fees, pending on which attorney you hire, can also vary, as I've been quoted $3500-$8000!!!! AS the process takes longer like 2-3yrs! It is advisable to speak to as many immigration attorneys as the good ones will call you back personally and discuss the proccess and COST, as after all they want you to retain their service. Best of luck. |
