Default Cornish Pasty Company

Has anyone else here eaten at the Cornish Pasty Company in Tempe, Arizona? My wife read about it somewhere, and yesterday afternoon suggested that we give it a try.
My impressions: The pasties (or as my wife calls them, "pays-tees") were large and actually quite good. They're offered in several different versions with various fillings. I tried the meat-and-cheese and my wife had the shepherd's pie. Guinness and Boddington's are available on tap.
Not much atmosphere, though. More like an American working man's bar than an English pub. Very small, too. About the width of a railway carriage, with a long bar and several small tables along the length of the wall. The staff seemed to be mostly college kids from nearby Arizona State University.
The cost came to $20 for two very filling pasties, a beer and a diet coke. Not bad at all, really. I'd go back.

What a great find! And, a bargain price.

Would be nice to see those open up round the country! I don't think I've ever seen a cornish pasty place in the US.

Well everyone knows women can't cook. If I want an authentic Cornish pasty I have to make it myself.
