I know how he feels so 2 weeks on Monday I will snaffle 2 Ivor Dewdney Cornish pasties when I am in Plymouth, UK. One for him and one for him. :D :D

Don't bother, we found one in an 'English Tea Shoppe' and the insides looked like something off 'Fear Factor.' :scared:

I know what you mean, though. We went past a Cornish Pastie shop in London a month ago and I started salivating instantly. :)

You can find some alright ones in British import stores, if you can find 'em, but they vary in quality (just like they do in England) and they're pretty expensive to boot. Same goes for pretty much anything else imported that needs to be refrigerated or frozen - the price of a box of 4 fishcakes in our local import shop is scary...

Here you go! Knew in the back of my mind that goodwoods had to have something. :) Disclaimer: I've never actually used Goodwoods myself. I find everything I need in the international foods aisle in Meijer. :)

There was a bakery up the road in the next town that was fantastic, made cornish pasties, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, decent quiches...they were Brits, well the missus was...but now they've retired and closed the place down, well gutted :(

Bah! Who needs someone else to make scotch eggs and sausage roll? Those two are nigh on as easy as cooking gets.

Pies seem to be a pain, though. I seem to start cooking at 6 and finish at 9 whenever I make 'em.
