Contersigning of passport app and photos?
 
I live in Florida and am in the process of renewing my U.K. passport. The application requires that the photo and application should be countersigned. I have read the list of suitable occupations and do not know anyone who fits the requirement. How should I proceed?

Do you have a bank account? Ask the branch manager. A doctor, dentist, veterinarian, the head librarian? Surely you know some professional you can approach.

If you are recognizable from your previous photo ie if you're appearance hasn't drastically changed...you do not need the photo countersigning.
