consulate interview
I have a consulate interview next month and am concerned about a question which may be asked. I, like thousands of others, contacted a US employer before leaving my home country, requesting to test with them while I was in the US on vacation. I tested, passed and was offered a job and green card sponsorship by the employer. If I am asked by a Consulate Officer, "how did you get this job", how then do I reply? I don't want to be seen to have entered the US fraudulently, and would like to know how best to manage the question. Thanks.

Re: consulate interview
Just tell the truth. It is perfectly legal to *look* for a job on a tourist visa, and
even to take the test etc.
