Community Colleges, information about PA
Hello everyone,
My husband recently accepted a new job in Pennsylvania so we'll be making the move in May. It's all very exciting, however neither my husband or I have ever been there. We've been doing some research on weather, towns and community colleges/universities.
It looks as though we'll be closest to the town of Warren in the northern part of the state, close to the NY border.
Obviously I'm at the beginning of my research but I was wondering if anyone could give an insight into the area, activities and lifestyle up there?
I've been searching for community colleges so if anyone has attended one or been enrolled at a university there, I'd love to hear your thoughts and recommendations.
If there is anything else anyone would like to add, I'll be glad to receive some of your advice on our big move across the states!
Thank you.

Warren is near the allegheny national forest, which is, frankly gorgeous.
lots of hiking, camping, state game lands, hunting and outdoorsy stuff to be done there.
I guess the nearest major town is Erie, but don't let that put you off.

Camping and fishing will certainly be on our to-do list. The skiing is supposedly rather good too, although i've never tried it
Have you tried asking on www.city-data.com ?
