This is the recognised New Years day meal here in SC. Any 'peculiar' meals in other states?

Yep, all the British chocolate bars that my mom stashed in her suitcase when she came over for the holidays.

But a good Bounty, dark chocolate of course, wouldn't go amiss.

Yes , thats the NYDay meal down here in the south. The collard greens for money, the black-eye peas for luck. I dont do the pork but as a veggie lover I can eats mounds of collards and black-eyes. Hey... will I be able to get collards in the UK?
