Closing on our house!

Closing on our house!
RIGHT NOW! *hops* My sweetie is at the whateveritscalled place right now to sign his life away! LOL It's the first house he's ever bought and he keeps calling it 'our house' *swoon* . I've only seen it on pictures so far but it's an awesome place. Huge yard and all. No point in this post really, except it was a 'missing him'-day and I just wanted to share.

Re: Closing on our house!
Hello
We're buying our first house together too. We'll be closing on 26th November.... not long to go now!!! Can't wait to have some space to call our own. I know how excited you must be feeling. Good luck when you get to see it and spend your first night together in it.

Thanks Maggie! It's a nice feeling, isn't it. He put me in charge of decoration/colors etc. but the place is really well taken care of (old lady lived there) so he's just moving in and starting on some other stuff (remodeling the main bathroom, and he was mumbling something about the basement... LOL). I'm still so excited! An advance congrats to you!

Where I am? On cloud 9!
Oh... you didn't mean that... He (and the house ) are in north-eastern Ohio, I'm in The Netherlands.

Our house was own by elderly people before we bought it too.
Orange and green shag carpet with every hue of wood stain on the panelled walls. We have re-sheet rocked every room and remodeled the bathrooms and kitchen. I'm glad we had to because little by little I got to make it all then way I wanted it.

Stick with the dark colour.... I just had to order new carpeting (See Ouch again thread)
Home Depot ripped me off by offering me a 10% discount and then only took it off the carpet and not pad and labour.
Boy, are they gonna hear from me tomorrow!
