Question citizenship

Hello,
I have a question that may or may not be answerable in this forum. I am a US citizen born in Seattle in 1946. My father was born in London in 1913. My question is do I qualify for British citizenship through my father and if so how do I get started in this effort?

It sounds like you are a British Citizen by descent. Here's one link, although there are probably better ones available,
