There's only one thing worse than someone doing something daft or ignorant, and that's when the said same ignorant f**ker refuses to apologies or even admit their mistake. I mean ffs - you're phone goes off in a cinema - what sort of gimp thinks its then ok to sit there and have a conversation.
At the minute a friend in the UK is being sued for whiplash by a man who reversed into his car - you couldn't make it up.

On the plus side texas is a death penalty state, so we can all dream...

Cinema's in my area would never have tolerated this. That fat woman would have been removed from the auditorium and issued a citation in a hearbeat for what she did. My advice is to notify management anytime something like this occurs, rather than attempting to touch the person in question. Usally, management will respond accordingly by removing this person from the auditorium and having police issue a citation.

I can tell you that cinema management is usally very strict on cell phone usage during feature film presentations, or any disorderly conduct for that mattter.

In fact, just last year during a showing of Reveng of the Sith, the film was halted and a large number of teenagers were evicted from the complex for making too much noise. There were over 100 teenagers in the group that was thrown out.

The last couple of times I've been to the cinema there is a really cool commercial regarding "turning off you cell phone"...this guy skies like 200ft off a cliff onto his head (and survives) but as he lands a cell phone goes off and spoils the moment...it always makes me switch mine off.

We are also debating giving Floedia back to Spain, so they can attain 98% of all English summer holiday travelers (thus raising current Spanish levels for Brit tourists from 62%).
