Re: Childrens Clubs
I've found that the YMCA does a pretty good job with children's programs. Here's a link to them in Delaware (I'm not in that area, btw)

There's usually a Young Girls Club, Young Boys Club thing too..
Probably find a load of Gymboree type gym chains for kids that have those inflated slides and all kinds of stuff. Sometimes you've got to be a member to use them, some you can do a daily drop in for say $10 all day.
http://www.bostoncentral.com/resourc...enters/p43.php We've got that in MA, I don't know if there's something equivalent in DE, but you could google family children's network to see.
There will probably be more info at the variety of childcare type places too and possibly at the local malls. Some of them do a lot of free events a day a week, or if the local mall is owned by Simon's, they have a childrens membership club which I think is $10 a year and then get a bunch of activities to do.
Dance studios, don't know about DE, but at a guess, you'll probably find one on most street corners, they're everywhere. Some are better than others for the toddler crowd.
Also don't forget local libraries, they often have story time, craft activities and other events, music/dance time and stuff like that.

Also, city parks and rec departments usually have pre-school age (3 to 5) type programs which can be a bit cheaper than the chain ones.
