I'm just curious what other people have to pay for their child care. I prefer home based care for my son and pay $150 week to a lady who's been doing it for 15 yrs and takes on a max of 4 kids. My last babysitter only charged $125, but took on 6 kids. I feel as though my son is getting excellent care and prefer home based vs daycare centers where I'm always suspicous that your child is getting a lot less attention for a lot more money.

I'm paying $100 a week for my two kids to stay with a family down the street during some of the holidays. My kids are the only ones she's taking and her kids are the same age, so mostly they all hang out round the pool. I'm paying $100 a week to a college student I trust to hang out at our place with the kids other weeks.

I am paying $179.00 each per week for summer camp, however, they get to go to Busch Gardens, go-karting etc. and my girls love it! Only gripe I have is; it finishes at 3.00pm.
