L1 and specialist sub type I think (we have an immigration department so I’m not too close to the specifics).
It's a global consultancy with offices in most cites and with clients across the board.
The internal transfer is to simply help out in data centre consolidations.
The chap I just spoke to (same company) says if travel had to happen he would pay with his card until a corporate one landed, not really sure if he can do that?
I’m sorry I don’t have too many more specifics; I don’t even have the offer paperwork yet.
I think I may have tackled this the wrong way, namely we simply decided (for a number of the usual reasons) to exit stage left. The corporation is big enough to let me work internally so we simply picked places when the company would let/assist me move.
But once having left the UK and with plans to put down some roots the concerns around location, hobbies and new families etc come to play.

I’ve rather found the last couple of weeks of my having too much/little information a little like a donkey with a trombone…. no idea how he got it and no idea what to do with
it.

Do you guys never head to our northern neighbor, Wisconsin? Wisconsin is probably the #1 tourist destination for our city, with the Dells, Devil's Lake, Madison, Milwaukee, the North Woods, Door County, 15000+ lakes, Whistling Straits golf, etc. Lots to do.
