Order from Amazon.co.uk or Bookdepository.com and have it delivered direct?

Or send it a lower priority class with the post office. Was $38 overnight or something?

Thanks. I cannot get it from Amazon etc as it's a specialised craft book, hardly stocked anywhere here never mind in the UK!

I have found now managed to get the postage cheaper on the USPS website as for some reason it doesn't automatically show all options!

The $38 was for 3-5 day delivery! Madness!

If I'm reading it right, First class only goes up to 64oz (4 lbs)? I want to send a parcel to my sister, just odd bits and pieces that she can't get in the UK, baby/toddler dresses, sweets, etc. But the cheapest option seems to be priority mail international flat rate box, 12"x12"x5.5"x20lbs at $60.95. It probably won't weigh more than 10lbs/5kg when I've finished. Any ideas of how to get any cheaper options? Tried a couple of agents that supposedly get cheap rates through Fedex/UPS/DHL but still more expensive. Thanks.

Package it yourself and take it to the post office I have sent a few now, the post office is by far the cheaper...even if it is expensive! I bought some of those grey thick plastic postage bags off Ebay which are great for things such as clothes and non damageable things. HTH

Send in multiple, smaller packages.

Anything under 2 pounds gets cheapest rates anything over 4 pounds gets silly.
