Cheapest Flights to the US

Hello there,

Now that we have received our NOA from the USCIS, we are looking for flights.
Any ideas on which airlines do the cheapest flights to the US?

Thanks

All depends on where from and where too as well as when don't it...

kayak.com is a good option, but there was a thread on this a few weeks ago that had loads of decent tips...

I agree with Bob just Kayak but I would then go to the airlines web-site and see if its cheaper to book directly with them more often then not its cheaper ;)

November and February.

Those seem to be the cheapest months to fly. What airline you use is secondary to the overall market prices at play.

Prices will suck until about September at least as we are in the Summer travel season, fwiw.

Kayak, fly.com are best sites to search but as pointed out above, going to the the airlines direct can be cheaper. Last two times I've done it I've gone with BA and Air New Zealand.

I wouldn't bother with the more dodgy sites like Hoodaki, Kelkoo, Mobissimo etc. They don't bother to update their websites so the price you get when you call them is almost invariably very different to the one advertised online. You might get lucky but you'll probably just get frustrated, not to mention a large phone bill.

A standard warning -- do not make travel arrangements until you have the actual visa in hand [or at least told that your passport will be mailed to you with the visa].

"Your mileage may vary."

I was always a fan of opodo.co.uk for flight searches
