Chattanooga?

I'm vaguely contemplating applying to a training program based in Chattanooga and would be grateful for any informed comments about this city and surrounds.

Thanks :D

Yes - was about to mention that I too had been there earlier in the year. It's next to some lovely countryside and near to the Smokies. I managed to get the most lost there than in any other city on my roadtrip - the city itself didn't strike me as super, but the countryside sure is.

We spent one night here:

It was my daughters' fave on the whole trip, and the owner cooked me an omelette with veggies fresh from the garden (this was in mid-March).

So, Roy Rogers was pissed that a bobcat stole his brand new boots - boots that he really, really liked... all nicely decorated. Well, off he went to hunt down the vile creature. He came back a bit later with the dead cat over his shoulder... to which Dale Evans quipped: "Pardon me Roy, is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?" :)

He doesn't look at all like Jimmy Stewart... but I do like listening to the Modernaires!

As well as buy fireworks and cigarettes at a number of well-illuminated megamarts at night.

I haven't been there, but the company I work for has an enormous office there, and everyone there seems to love it.

Hot and humid summers though...
