Changing name
I divorced USC hubby back in July and decided not to change my name. However I'm now leaning towards going back to my maiden name, i know I can register a name change with the Alaskan courts but how do i go about letting USCIS know about it ?

Re: Changing name
Check your divorce papers. Mine says on the last page that I have the right to resume my former surname. Yours might as well.
Nothing to contact USCIS about. You are no longer a PR but a USC. You have no further dealings with the USCIS. |

Unless, of course, you want to obtain a replacement green card showing your new name. Rene |
