Just check that does have tracking though. When I tried (for other documents) they still wouldn't do it.
It was not this specific problem Nutek has; I was told that it's impossible to send a registered letter overseas by UPS (got it wrong the first time, it was UPS not FedEx).

Re: CHANGES TO BRITISH PASSPORT SERVICES IN THE USA
I just sent my application using UPS worldwide express to the Durham location. $65 with signature required on delivery, due by Monday 23 September 12pm.
I'll report back once it arrives.

As per the Royal Mail website the address is:
HM Passport Office
Millburngate House
DURHAM
DH97 1PA
So the postcode and post town is correct for that address. Weird that can't find Durham at all. It's hardly a tiny village! Must be a problem at their end.

Current plan is to either use UPS, or to wrap it all in a giant bag of Peppermint patties and mail it to a relative in the UK and see if they can do it for me.

Is that really where he's from or is that some kind of subtly wifely message you're trying to get out?
Sounds like something mine would do.
On another note - I hope there's a party supplier based there. I'd love to see the 'Pity Me Party Store'

He's from Gateshead which is further up the A1 - maybe it was just subliminal.

I've got an Aunt from Pity Me. I'm sure it had an effect on her, as every single sentence she has ever uttered has sounded like an apology!
And my dad was from just down the road at Framwellgate Moor, which is also on your map. If anyone ever finds themselves in Pity Me, the 2 sets of bay fronted semi's on the main (only!) road were built by my grandad in the 50's...
