I wonder which driver got fired ? The one parking in the wrong place or the one not looking where he was going. I think the Ford has exceeded it's GVWR.

By the way, I went to a ride and drive day where I got to drive the new F-150 and competitors on a coned course.

Driving in the same reckless manner I got the inside wheel of a Dodge completely off the ground in corners and the axle tramping. The Ford kept all four politely glued down. I couldn't get the Chevy to tramp either but that was because it wouldn't stop sliding. The chassis, suspension and steering on the new F-150 is truly outstanding.

2003 was the last model year for the Escort/ZX2 anyway.

Mine's a 2000 model. I got it when I was single, but as a newlywed I am thinking more in terms of our future family and all...so definitely something bigger, but not a minivan :D

I saw a commercial about a car that is like an SUV, but doesn't have all the bad stuff for the environment and better mileage...anyone know what I am talking about (because I don't haha) :D

Ford are replacing the Taurus Sedan this year with the "500" model. Kind of like the man-in-the street's Jag as it is on the same universal chassis.

The Taurus Wagon will be replaced by the "Freestyle" which is a "crossover" vehicle. Both will be avalable in All-Wheel-Drive. The Freestyle can have a 3rd row seat.

You can find pics on the internet. Maybe something like this is what you mean.

Mercedes ML320. Been very happy with it.

With the Winter driving conditions here though my practical requirements for a vehicle would probably be different than yours.

Does very well in snow and ice with the Michelin LTX M/S tires I bought from Costco, hasn't thought about losing it once *fingers crossed*

Slightly confused here because I always thought Nevada was all desert and hot and dry and all that. But I've never been there so obviously it does snow.

LOL.

I live at Lake Tahoe. At just under 7000ft and next door to a Ski Resort.

Some of you oldies may remember the Squaw Valley winter Olympics, that was just down the road from me (about 30 mins drive away).

99% of the people here are Brits, so wouldn't matter.

I've done that as an avatar in case he fancies that instead -->

It's a shame that your artistic and satirical skills don't extend to your computer skills. Neither your "avatar" graphic nor the one from another poster came through.
