Not sure how he managed that, as a diesel nozzle is wider than a gas filler tube and, as such, wont fit.
That way you can't put diesel in a gas car, but you can put gas in a diesel car.

I'll be interested to see how long mine (well, the Mercury version) lasts. It's got about 80,000 on it now and is a 2002 model. No rust or broken bits so far - though I did have to replace a seatbelt which had lost its ability to retract.

I had a 98 Taurus when I moved to the UK in 2004 - sold it three days before my flight. I think it had about 94k on it, but a lot of it was highway as I'd taken many cross country road trips.

This was in the UK about 10 years ago. He put diesel in his Fiesta.
