Car insurance asking for 'MVR'
 

My girlfriends car insurance company is asking for my 'Motor Vehicle Record' so they can add me to her insurance policy.

afaik we don't have this in the UK. Before I go back to the insurance company, is the best I am likely able to produce going to be my insurance no claims details.

I wonder if there is a way for DVLA to send me some details saying I have a clean license, and if that would help at all?

Did she explain to them that you are a foreigner and do not have a MVR?

We're working on that now. For some reason this is getting lost in translation on the insurance agent

Zip car wanted something similar for insurance in 2010 when I signed up with a UK license, DVLA was able to provide a record: https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence
