Car Flags!!

 Ok people Do Any brits in the USA have those stupid car flags for the world cup?!. Bloody Annoying they are!..
There was a woman on TV other day Actually trying to ban them!.. :scared: ,
she said if one came off a car it could land on the visor of a passing motorcyclist and distract his vision and he could crash!.

So whats everyones view on the flag thing?.... and you can Guarantee, as soon as England lose there won't be many flags on the cars!...

Cheers everyone, world cup good excuse for plenty of booze anyways!.

I agree with that ! ... and over the year they actually use quite a bit of extra fuel, any object added to the outside of a vehicle does.

Well unless the killjoy brigade can show me some reliable data that proves that a flag on a car causes a significant drag, and hence higher fuel consumption, I think that I'll be keeping my England flag on the car for the time being ;)

Some bloke by my auntie has apparently painted the bit between his downstairs bay window and the upstairs bay with a St Georges Cross. It's a council house, so I'm sure they'll appreciate it. :D

Got my flag ready - just need the car back from the garage to go with it now :)

Well I actually made a bloody thread in the lounge about this. Not one reply, and I think one fella actually understood it and sent me karma. Maybe deemed more approiate in here, me thinks.

Information Release.

There is concern over the current driving standards in England, so the
Department of Transport have devised a scheme to identify poor and
dangerous drivers.

This system will allow all road users to recognise the potentially hazardous
and dangerous ones, or those with limited driving skills.

From the middle of May 2006 all those drivers who are found to be a
potential hazard to all other road users will be issued with a white flag, bearing a red cross.

This flag clearly indicates their inability to drive properly.

These flags must be clipped to a door of the car and be visible to all other
drivers and pedestrians.

Those drivers who have shown particularly poor driving skills will have
to display two flags. One on each side of the car to indicate an even
greater lack of skill and limited driving intelligence.

Please circulate this to as many other motorists as you can, in order
that drivers and pedestrians will be aware of the meaning of these flags.

Thank you for your co-operation.
