A Car Company - Still Owned & Controlled By Brits
 
Hi,

Bearing in mind the thread on British Built Cars, still being made today, I tought that this link may tweak your interest.

Granted, they are out of our price range. But, it's good to see them still having a go.

I agree with the concept - but 160,000 for a car that looks like a Ford Capri with an obesity problem is just a bit rich!

Not a car manufacturer but Triumph still make motorbikes in Hinkley. And bloody nice they are too! Here's mine:-

What a sad reflection on the state of British industry! Those are, without a doubt, the ugliest cars I have ever seen. The price aims them at the millionaire collector of exotic supercars. The looks aim them at renovators of clapped-out Vauxhalls.

Should sell well to the niche market of blind millionaire collectors of exotic supercars though.

What a total pile of crap!

After seeing the "Royal Family" on Spitting Image, I have been unable to take any of them seriously, since.

Not just for millionaires my wife used to have two! Never saw them but my mates used to say she had a lovely pair of Bristols. :D :D

The Panther was a nice little sportcar car from the 80s ..made in surrey
brit made.. then bough by a Korean but made in Harlow Essex
Folded around 1990..
