Dear Experts,
Both my wife and I are Canadian nationals. I'm currently in US on an F-1 visa. My wife will finish her school and she plans to join me in US at the beginning of the summer. I understand that she should apply for an F-2. However, she plans to look for a job offer here in US and once she has it, to get a TN-1 visa. My question is whether a Canadian national on an F-2 and a job offer can apply for a TN-1 at the border? Or is it better not to have an F-2 when applying for a TN-1? Thanks --Stefan |
By Canadian nationals, I presume you mean citizens.
She can indeed get a TN if both she and the job are eligible. The F2 will make no difference. Stuart slippy wrote: > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > |
