Did that, searched the menu with the staff - there was no UK sizing in the options, same at two different stores.

I think Lansbury (if it wasn't him it was someone else in the PNW) reported that his local Walgreens used to have British passport photos as an option, but the equipment had changed and it was no longer an option.

Looks like it's probably hit and miss depending on the location. I had meant to get the photos done in the UK when I was home for Xmas, but I forgot, so Walgreens was my only option. Plan B was to go home with expired passport and renew over there this summer.

I sent all my docs including my old passport to Durham. According to information provided by DHL, my new passport tracking originated in the Midlands, and then on to Heathrow. I just assumed that my old passport would be sent out separately via snail mail.

Yes I expect that's how it is. They must have various postal procedures.

Your old passport is returned from the processing office in Durham, whereas your new passport is dispatched from the facility where your passport is printed, which is remote from the passport processing office.
