Calling NSC and complaining does help! I am approved !
 
Yea ha. Well i guess me calling and causing a scene did help, because i am approved now. Everyone should do it. :)
Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On October 10, 2002, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

First NOA: MAy 31
Second NOA: October 10
Thanks everyone for listening to me complain and helping me. Mooey i hope you got good news today also?? Now who knows how much longer, it depends on the Vietnam Consulate. Thanks everyone!!!

"I am so pleased for you.. and Npe I am still waiting.. Ken even call the congressmans office on Tuesday,, but had to leave a message because they was so busy and they never call him back...
PLease God I hear soon because I am not able to do anything and I feel so helpless.. I have gotten so low this past couple of weeks,, I have the flus and I feel so awful right now
Ayway I am really pleased for you so just keep me updated on how things go now...

OH DARN!!!!!!!
I dont know if I am pleased or so fed up I want to cry... I just checked the online staus a short time ago and nothing had changed.!!!!! and after checking hear for news I go back and check again because I just cant believe how unlucky I am..!!!!
It nows says they have sent out a notice for furrther informaton!!!!!... How long is that all going to take???? has anyone had to wait for the notice and then sent it back to them?? how long do they take to get to it again in that mountain of files they seems to have back loged up!!!!!

I'm sorry Mooey that really sucks. Well at least u know they are doing something now. I heard after u get an RFE and u send it back they work on it right away. I hope that is true. Good luck, talk to your senater.

Usually it takes less then a week or around that maybe a bit more but I have read that some who got an RFE/RFI after they sent it back it took like a month before they was approved. Which I think sucks specially if you have waited long already.

Just a thought, has anyone noticed ; it's like every week that passes, INS
moves ahead 2 days....LOL...

Not something I have noticed Mark.. I am still waiting my 1st NOA is 24th May...
then I find everyone with an apporval and Me with a RFE...HELP!!!!!!

Mooey, have you contacted a attorney ? Perhaps they can find some answers
for you once this RFE has been submitted. From what I've heard, attorneys
have a phone number they can call that gives them more direct access to the
INS. Perhaps one will answer this note and confirm one way or the other.
