My fiance are spending an absolute fortune on phone cards at the moment - does any one know any good web-sites selling phone cards?

hi.

i dont know where you and your fiancee live, but if one of you in asia, i recommend www.smartway2call.com

cheap, good voice quality and plenty of time. like, i always buy one to call indonesia, less than 20 dollar i can call for more-less 10 hours. that is CHEAP.

Krissy,
I'm in Australia and use "hello" cards which may be available in New Zealand. I get for $50.00 around 40 hours to call the US which includes same cost for mobile phones. VERY CHEAP and it's not an internet line. I've never had a problem with them and highly recommend. Available at most newsagents.

Aus.

If you havent settled on anything yet as far as calling cards go, check out this site.
For $50 a month you can get unlimited calling from USA to UK, so quite possibly they do something similar to other countries also.

We use bigzoo.com. Very good rates and no connection fee. You can recharge online and use local access numbers for even lower rates!

That would be GREAT for us--we spend a lot more than $50 a month calling USA to UK. But I wasn't able to find that option at the URL you specified. Can you provide more details?

Bigzoo.com is the best! I've been using it for over 2 years. Just 75 cents a month, and the only time there's a connection fee is when you call from a payphone (I think that's required by law or something). We don't even have a long distance company, just local service and then we use bigzoo to call domestic/intl.

I second this recommendation. I just started using them this week (due to adivce from this NG) and they are great.

You have to dial a local access number to get connected. But you can set the system up to recognize your home or cell # and bypass the pin requirement. THe cost is ONLY 2.9cents per minute to Europe. And NO taxes which generally add 15%-20% to normal long distance bills.

Dutchman, did you know you can call the US for 1 eurocent per minute if you go through 1649? Their website is bel1649.nl or something likewise... google it if what I said isn't right.
