CA -I-751 Conditions Removal and Driving Licence Expiring.
 

We are just applying to have the conditions removed from our green cards which expire 10-04-09; the same day my driving license also expires.

What happens if we have not received our new green cards by then...will I not be able to renew my driving license? (I live in CA).

Does anyone have any experience with this situation?

You will get a receipt letter (I-797C) when your petition is received; it will automatically extend your status for one year (at least, this is so for the I-751; I have't heard from investors but imagine it is the same). That letter may carry some weight at DMV; check their list?
