CA handgun clubs
 

I'm moving to CA and looking for info on any shooting clubs near Santa Monica. I'm a member of TXDPSA here in Texas and we meet once a month to shoot our XD's at an outdoor range. I've heard that gun ownership in CA is not as common as TX, and after looking in to gun laws in CA can see why.
I'm looking for a gun club in CA (L.A, area).

No, lol, guns are not nearly as common in California as Texas. In fact, I think you might find the attitude towards guns more like the UK out there. i.e. might not be the first thing you want to talk about when trying to make friends. ;)

Ah, Texas to California - I will eagerly await hearing about your "culture shock". Seriously, I hope you'll have a great time there.
