If they used this criteria for resigning in the US, the whole government would have to resign I suspect. He was wrong and he resigned, wish Bush would do the same. Going on the news in the UK, it wont be long before Blair resigns.

I was telling my wife about that before the Blunkett thing came up. Politicians here refuse to do "the decent thing", and hang in like some kid in denial until they are finally kicked out.
